Alison Harcourt ran a large conference at the House of Commons on Friday November 11th.
It was the first of two conferences covering the Digital Single Market. One-fourth of the European Commission’s 2015 Communication ‘Upgrading the Single Market: more opportunities for people and business’ dealt with digital single market (DSM) initiatives. This conference addresses cross-border broadcasting, online services, copyright law and content provision.
The next conference on December 2nd will cover data protection, privacy and cross-border data handling.
