Re-assessment
Re-assessment takes place when the summative assessment has not been completed by the original deadline, and the student has been allowed to refer or defer it to a later date (this only happens following certain criteria and is always subject to exam board approval). For obvious reasons, re-assessments cannot be the same as the original assessment and so these alternatives are set. In cases where the form of assessment is the same, the content will nevertheless be different.

Re-assessment notes
If the group fail then they will have to redo the presentation as soon as possible after the presentation date. They will be capped at 40%. If they are deferred they will have to redo the presentation as soon as possible and will receive their full marks. If an individual fails to show up for the presentation and do not seek mitigation then s/he will get a 0%. If they do get mitigation then they will be deferred in the presentation and will have to submit a 1000 word summary of t heir contribution to the team presentation.
