Syllabus Plan

Effectiveness of military intervention: Case Studies
Moral arguments and the ‘Responsibility to Protect’
Economic Context: Rethinking sovereignty, responsibility and intervention
Postcolonial Context: Rethinking humanitarian intervention
From wars to complex political emergencies
The politics of aid and humanitarianism
