This module allows you to research a specific topic which is of benefit to your future career. A further complementary aim is to enable you to understand and critically evaluate British and European public administration through a programme of visits to institutions at a variety of levels (local, regional, national and European) and a series of guest lectures by academics and practitioners. As part of this engagement with public institutions, the possibility exists for you to take on a short period of work placement activity.
