Professor Doug Stokes is co-editing a special issue of the journal International Affairs (Oxford University Presswith Professor Inderjeet Parmar (City University) and Professor John Ikenberry (Princeton University). Due out in January 2018, the special issue's theme is on the durability of the liberal international order in a time of relative American decline, rising powers and the Trump Administration. The special issue includes scholars from a range of perspectives including Professor Carla Norloff (Toronto), Beate Jahn (Sussex), Christopher Layne (Texas), Daniel Deudney (Johns Hopkins), Nana de Graaff and Bastiaan van Apeldoorn (Free University, Amsterdam) and Constance Duncombe & Tim Dunne (University of Queensland, Australia). The special issue will be launched in London and Princeton in early 2018.
